(Owned by by Wayne & Bev Theriault)

Original condition - as purchased

This excellent find was manufactured in Peterborough in l954 and was shipped to Ohio and sold to a marina there. It was bought by an Ohio resident who would bring the boat back to the Kawarthas during the summer. After this gentleman passed, his son and grandson were hoping to keep it but the son's health became too limiting for boating. The grandson has gone into antique cars and did not have room for the boat, so the boat has now come back to the Kawarthas where it originally started.

The Theriaults are only the second owners and are in the middle of restoring the boat to its original condition. The seats have been reupholstered and the wood is now is the process of being totally refinished. The canvas top should be ready for this summer. The motor is a 1956 30 hp Johnson and was in excellent condition.

The boat sits very low in the water and provides a wonderful ride. It has become a favourite of ours and we are looking forward to having it in the water this summer fully restored.
