A 1959, 18 ft. Lyman Runabout

(owned by David K. Young)

This Lyman is a 1959, 18 feet outboard runabout model, built in Sandusky, Ohio. It was purchased in 2004, and had major refinishing work done during winter of 2004/2005 by Woodwind Yachts. It is powered with a 2004 Evinrude E-Tec 75 hp with a modern steering system, for a nice reliable 'user' boat. Boat is primarily used on Lake of Bays.

The boat is currently about 98% completed, with only some rechroming of some metal parts left to be done. Boat has been used for a few weeks every summer since refinishing. It will receive another coat or two of varnish on topsides before the 2008 season.

Boat is not currently for sale, but a sale could be considered if another boat comes along that peaks the owner's interest!
