“Addiction”, a 1957 - 24’ Shepherd Runabout
(owned by John and Ann Warden)
“
Addicton” is one of only 43 Shepherds built. This 1957, 24 ft
Shepherd (hull
# 32) was acquired by the Wardens in 1986 and was totally restored over
a period of years by the Wardens. She is powered by twin Chrysler Crowns
135 hp each.
She has won a number of awards and appeared on a boat calendar in 1996.
She
has travelled to many boat shows, including the St. John’s
River Cruise and a
Boat Show in Mt. Dora, Florida. She is a great boat in the big lakes
and rough
waters. Addiction also made her movie debut in the movie “Skulls” starring
Joshua Jackson & Paul Walker in 1998. She is trailered to many
different lakes.
