1958, 16ft. Peterborough Seafarer Hardtop This vessel is currently for sale - $6000. (without trailer) (owned by Keith & Sarah Robinson) This boat was purchased new by a man in Halifax, NS.
It originally had a 40 HP Mercury short shaft. They had cut the transom.
I bought it in 1984. It was at a lake north of Halifax. We brought
it back to Ontario by way of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New
York, crossing from Cape Vincent, NY to Kingston via Wolfe Island.
It has been kept at our cottage on Lake Rosseau, Windermere the whole
time we have had it. We have used it extensively and enjoyed many outings.
In 2002 the motor, a 1979 Johnson 55 HP was rebuilt. In 2003-2006 the
boat had a lot of work done. A new transom, keel, several ribs, bottom
fibreglassed. The boat was completely stripped inside and out and refinished
with 5 coats of varnish. We have used it some this summer and it is
performing very will. It was out of the water for 3 years.
Keith & Sarah Robinson If you have any questions about this vessel, you can contact the webmaster (*important - remove "nospam" in address to send email) for information on how to reach the owner. |
