This boat was originally owned by a cottager on Clear Lake. After a brief hiatus in storage, Channel Cat now resides at Crowe’s Landing on Stoney Lake. She was launched in August 2002, after a total restoration by John Hendren, owner of Meandering On. Progression of restoration shown below. Channel Cat enjoyed her first boat show August 10, 2002 at Merrickville, Ontario (Manotick/Ottawa Boat Club), and again the next weekend in Peterborough, at the Trent-Severn Club's Boat Show 2002 where she obtained the "Captain's Choice" award!
