"Joyce", a mid-50's, 15 ft. Peterborough Aqua Flyer

(owned by Albert and Zita Crowley)

This boat is for sale - see our Classifieds page

Bitten by the wood boat bug, and accentuated by their son’s enthusiasm and participation in the Norwood High School’s Duke of Edinburgh’s program of boat restoration, Albert and Zita purchased this boat in Brechin, Ontario in the spring of 2008. The previous owner didn't know much about this Peterborough in particular, but since the early 50's it was in the boathouse when he purchased his home on the water. Restoration started almost immediately after Albert purchased the boat. He and his son Eric finished final details on August 13th in time for the Trent-Severn High Point Tour, and joined the group on the Stoney Lake portion of the tour.
