1954, 14 ft. Peterborough Runabout

1954 Peterborough, 14 ft. laminated mahogany/cedar bow. Purchased Sept. 2005. Previous owner had this boat for approx. 10 yrs. He purchased it from a friend whose grandfather bought it for his son in the 1950's. The son quickly lost interest in it, so it was stored in a barn for 30 yrs. Ron and his wife discovered it during a family reunion last summer at a relative's marina on the outskirts of Algonquin Park. It had been stored for approx. 4 yrs. indoors. They plan to refinish and restore the boat this winter and hope to have it ready for the 2006 boating season.
