FOR SALE: 1965 Eliminator with a 6 cyl MERC 900 short shaft. I have found this package in a garage in Muskoka... an untouched piece of boating history. This is a CANADIAN made Eliminator with a Canadian made 6 cylinder Merc 900...which runs!. Nice 2 blade MERC brass speed prop..Trim tabs as well.
This is the boat that PRECEDED the J-Craft..actually J Craft stole this design.
Virtually put away since 1973 on a perfect custom made WISCOT trailer...see licence plate. The boat has a set of custom AQUA-METER gauges and MERC-RIDE GIDE steering with tilt wheel. Key is in the ignition switch. Gas tanks are in the back.
After sitting inside dry and out of sunlight, the boat is just as fine shape as it was new in '65 With a new set of spark plugs and fresh gas..the motor started right up !!!!
The trailer has been upgraded with all new bearings, seals, new rims, new tires new lights and wiring harness.

1954, 16 ft. Peterborough Canoe Company Seafarer Hardtop $15,900. (75th anniversary model) cedar strip. One of those ‘once in a lifetime’ boats, must be seen, excellent condition, tight and dry, very original, only second owner. Twin restored (by Peter McDowell of North York Marine, and recently tuned by 'Mr. Motor' Ron Stevenson) 35 hp 1957 Johnson Javelin outboards, also in excellent condition, repainted, rechromed, and in top running order (each with restored fuel tank, Johnson electrical box, and individual batteries). Rare twin choke/ignition dash plate and twin shift/throttle controls with new cables. Lines, fenders (new and original), auto bilge pump and original copper bailing pump, safety kit, fire extinguisher, 2 PFDs, original seat cushions, paddle, and canvas cockpit cover (pattern for new), comes complete! WANTED: Looking for hand pump which was stationed at the helm of a 1935 Richardson Cruiser. Boat was purchased in 1974, and was missing some items. All but the hand pump has been retrieved! Please help if you have any suggestions where one could be obtained! Also - would love to find the surroundings which surround the RPM, volt and oil pressure gauges on the helm as the ones on this boat have always been broken. Please Ken with suggestions.
